Job Summary

This role involves leading the administrative operations for the newly formed Pastoral Spaces within the Catholic Diocese of Münster in Ibbenbüren. As the Administrative Director, you will oversee all non-pastoral staff, including secretarial, maintenance, and music personnel, while relieving parish priests of operational administrative burdens. Your daily responsibilities will include advising church boards on human resources, budgeting, accounting, real estate management, and investment projects. This is a unique opportunity to shape a newly created position and actively guide significant organizational change processes. Required Skills

Education

University degree (FH/Bachelor) in Economics, Public Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification such as Administrative Exam II (Verwaltungslehrgang II) or Diploma in Administration (Dipl. Verwaltungswirt/in).

Experience

  • Professional experience in financial management, specifically in Kameralistik or New Municipal Finance Management (NKF)
  • Proven leadership experience and competence in managing diverse teams
  • Experience in managing and shaping organizational change processes
  • Practical experience in committee work and working within ecclesiastical or public structures
  • Experience in human resources, property management, and investment planning
