Job Summary

As an In-house Service Technician at Solarwatt, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the next generation of solar energy solutions. Your daily responsibilities involve providing high-level technical advice to partners, installers, and end customers, primarily through a telephone hotline. You will be the go-to expert for remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, and error resolution for complex photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, and e-mobility charging solutions. Beyond immediate support, you will collaborate with product management and quality departments to identify product weaknesses and develop long-term resolution strategies. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who enjoys technical consulting and wants to be at the forefront of the renewable energy sector. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or completed advanced training as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician (Techniker), or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in technical customer service
  • Experience in analyzing error patterns and developing technical resolution strategies
  • Professional experience in supporting installers or end-customers with technical queries
  • Experience in the planning or commissioning of complex technical systems
