Job Summary

This role involves the planning, operation, and management of stationary telecommunications and communication systems for the largest public transport provider in the Ruhr region. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic (LWL) network planning, telephony, and system documentation. Key tasks include independent construction planning, tendering, project management, and final acceptance of new installations and renovations. You will ensure systems comply with BOStrab and VDV regulations while coordinating maintenance and troubleshooting. The position is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys a mix of office-based planning and practical oversight. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the administration of telecommunications and information technology systems
  • Experience in project management, including progress monitoring and reporting
  • Professional experience in creating calculations, offers, and performance descriptions
  • Experience with telematics systems in the public transport sector is preferred
  • Experience in planning and configuring stationary communication systems
