Job Summary

As a Power Grid Project Engineer, you will play a central role in the Network and Plant Management department, focusing on the planning, analysis, and optimization of power grids and fiber optic infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include performing grid calculations (specifically for medium and low voltage), conducting target network planning, and preparing technical specifications for tenders. You will lead or coordinate various projects, ensuring compliance with technical, economic, and legal regulations while collaborating closely with authorities and service providers. This role is unique in its breadth, covering everything from initial analysis and contract preparation to the development of EMSR technology and control systems. The position offers a high degree of responsibility and the chance to shape local energy infrastructure within a stable, tariff-bound environment (TV-V) that provides excellent benefits like employer-funded pensions and flexible working hours.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification. Applications from current students (Working Students) in these fields are also considered.

Experience

  • Professional experience in power grid planning or electrical infrastructure project engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in conducting grid analyses and calculations using specialized software.
  • Experience in project leadership or coordination, including stakeholder management with authorities and service providers.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation and tender documents.
