Job Summary
As a Power Electronics Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the conceptualization and development of innovative hardware modules for power electronic applications. Your daily tasks involve defining technical requirements for circuits and components, as well as simulating and optimizing designs using modern development tools. You will also play a critical role in the laboratory, where you will plan, execute, and evaluate verification measures to ensure hardware reliability. This position is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and hardware development who enjoys a mix of theoretical design and hands-on testing. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the hardware development of power electronics
- Proven experience in circuit simulation and optimization using modern tools
- Demonstrated proficiency in requirements management and structured documentation
- Experience in planning and conducting laboratory-based verification measures

Additional
- The role follows the IG Metall collective agreement. Candidates must be able to work on-site or in a mobile-office hybrid model as required by the project.
