As a Thermal Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the calculation and modeling of thermal power losses at both the module and system levels, including complete battery cabinets. Your day-to-day work involves developing, designing, and verifying efficient cooling concepts, with a particular focus on liquid cooling systems. You will independently plan and conduct experiments to determine the power losses of battery cells, cables, and modules, while also supervising external service providers and laboratory partners. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Energy Technology, Physics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in thermodynamics and heat transport
- Experience in handling battery cells, energy storage systems, or power electronics is preferred
- Proven experience in planning and executing technical experiments
- Experience in managing and supervising external service providers and laboratory partners
- Experience in modeling thermal power losses at module and system levels
