Job Summary
This role involves supporting the 'Young Carer Hub' project at the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd, specifically within the Creative Hall Assisted Living (CHAL) framework. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day establishment and management of a project advisory board and the expansion of professional networks within the Hardt district and Ostalbkreis region. A significant portion of the work involves conducting needs assessments for elderly individuals and partner institutions to facilitate co-design processes. You will evaluate the feasibility of social, technical, and digital solutions aimed at promoting independent living in old age. This position is ideal for professionals seeking a socially impactful role in a university setting that offers flexible, family-friendly working hours and a collaborative atmosphere. The contract is part-time (50%) and fixed-term, running from April 2026 through September 2027.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Sociology, or a comparable field relevant to the tasks described.
Experience
- Professional experience in the coordination or support of projects within social, nursing, or societal contexts
- Demonstrated experience in professional networking and communication
- Experience in collaborative teamwork and organizational administration
- Experience in the field of digitalization for the elderly or 'Caring Communities' is advantageous
