Job Summary

This role involves performing advanced structural mechanical analyses for a leading European provider of military vehicles and simulation systems. As a Calculation Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire simulation lifecycle, from building FE models using HyperMesh to defining load cases and evaluating structural deformation or failure. You will analyze everything from individual components like bolts and weld seams to complete vehicle systems, including crash-dummy assessments for internal loading. A significant part of the role includes developing new calculation methods and material models while collaborating in interdisciplinary teams to present findings to internal stakeholders and clients. The position is particularly attractive due to its high level of responsibility in the defense sector, offering a competitive hourly wage starting at €30.62 and a loyalty bonus structure totaling €1500 gross over 14 months.
