Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the technical development of machinery and systems. Your daily responsibilities include creating detailed electrical circuit diagrams, parts lists, and media plans. You will be responsible for the calculation, dimensioning, and selection of electrical systems while coordinating closely with external suppliers. Beyond the design phase, you will provide critical support to technicians during machine assembly both in-house and at client sites, contributing to service retrofits and conversion projects. This role is highly collaborative, requiring seamless interaction with departments such as project planning, mechanical design, service, purchasing, and documentation. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Engineer, followed by further qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in hardware planning within the field of electrical engineering
  • Practical experience in the creation of electrical circuit diagrams and parts lists
  • Experience in supporting machine assembly and retrofit projects
  • Experience in cross-departmental coordination and external vendor management

Languages

English (Fluent)

Additional

  • Knowledge of Rockwell and Schneider systems is advantageous. SAP experience is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate high levels of responsibility and flexibility.
