Job Summary
As an IT Project Manager in the Information Technology department, you will spearhead digitalization initiatives and oversee the digital transformation of business processes. Your daily responsibilities will include analyzing and optimizing existing workflows, coordinating with external service providers, and implementing automation solutions. You will also manage the administration and configuration of IT systems, ensuring stable operations through incident and problem management. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a mix of technical system architecture and change management, as you will actively support employees during the introduction of new digital tools. The position offers the stability of the public service sector (TV-L E10) in the heart of Leipzig, featuring flexible working hours, up to 40% mobile work, and a collaborative team environment. While initially fixed-term for two years for external candidates, the organization intends for this to be a permanent, long-term appointment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Comprehensive professional experience in managing digitalization projects and using modern digital methods and tools.
- Experience in the administration and configuration of IT systems and data interfaces.
- Proven experience in business process optimization and automation.
- Practical experience in change management and supporting employees through technical transitions.
- Professional background in budget, cost, and risk management within an IT context.
