Job Summary
The Edenkoben Municipal Administration is seeking an Energy Manager to lead the implementation and maintenance of a municipal energy management system (EMS). In this role, you will be responsible for establishing energy monitoring for all municipal buildings, developing digital metering concepts, and implementing the necessary hardware and software for consumption tracking. You will analyze energy data to create reports and derive efficiency measures, providing a data-driven foundation for future building renovations. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys working at the intersection of technical building services and strategic planning. You will work closely with the building management team to ensure long-term sustainability. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Energy Engineering, Supply Engineering, Renewable Energies, or Energy Management; alternatively, a qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister) with relevant experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in energy management, renewable energy, or supply engineering
- Experience with measurement technology, sensor systems, and digital monitoring is preferred
- Experience in creating energy reports and efficiency planning
- Professional background as a technician or master craftsman (Meister) in a relevant field is acceptable in lieu of a degree

- Class B driving license required. The position is part-time (29.25 hours/week) and fixed-term for three years. Location is Edenkoben, Germany.
