Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer at AEG Power Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in the energy revolution by designing and implementing industrial power supply systems, including UPS, rectifier, and converter systems for renewable energy. Your daily responsibilities involve conducting engineering studies, performing short-circuit calculations, and creating electrical designs using EPLAN. You will collaborate closely with R&D, project management, and sales to develop cost-effective, standards-compliant solutions. This role is unique for its focus on critical infrastructure and high-power electronics, requiring a mix of technical simulation (MATLAB/Simulink, PSPICE) and hands-on documentation management. You will be responsible for the entire design lifecycle, from component selection and bill of materials (BOM) creation to ensuring compliance with nuclear power plant standards like RCC-E. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can apply EMC design principles and reliability calculations (MTBF) to ensure the continuous availability of power for critical global applications.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable industrial role, specifically within electrical design, power supply systems, or power electronics.
- Practical experience using EPLAN for electrical construction and documentation.
- Experience in electrical simulations and calculations using tools like PSPICE or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Demonstrated experience working within cross-functional engineering teams and collaborating with R&D and Project Management.
- Experience in creating technical specifications for subcontractors and suppliers.
