Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position involves overseeing the electrical infrastructure for the Ulmen municipal utilities, specifically focusing on wastewater and energy sectors. As the primary technical lead, you will ensure the safe and compliant operation of all electrical systems across 15 local communities and the city of Ulmen. Your daily responsibilities include planning and documenting maintenance, troubleshooting energy distribution and automation systems, and coordinating with external service providers and authorities. A unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to expand the 'Energy' business branch, working with renewable systems like photovoltaics and storage technology. Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman's certificate (Meister) or State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrical maintenance and planning
- Professional experience in the wastewater management sector preferred
- Experience with renewable energy systems and storage technology
- Proven experience in project processing and handling technical regulations
- Experience using MS Office and specialized tender software

- Valid Class B driver's license required; willingness to obtain Class BE license; participation in on-call standby duty; willingness to complete 'Basics for Sewage Treatment Plant Operation' qualification; residency ideally within 30 minutes of the service area.
