As a Field Service Technician at Velaris, you will play a critical role in supporting laboratory efficiency through the maintenance, repair, and installation of advanced chromatography and automated sample preparation systems. Your daily activities will involve traveling to customer sites to perform technical diagnostics, commissioning new equipment, and providing hands-on training to laboratory staff. You will act as a key technical advisor, ensuring high precision in fields such as environmental testing and food safety. Required Skills
Education
Technical degree (e.g., Bachelor/Master in Chemistry) or completed technical vocational training (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Assistant, Chemical Technician, or equivalent qualification).
Experience
- Professional experience in technical service or a similar field service position
- Experience in chromatography, chemistry, or biochemistry is advantageous
- Practical experience in mechanics, electronics, and control technology
- Experience in customer-oriented communication and independent problem-solving

- Valid Class B driver's license required. High willingness to travel (> 60%). Must reside within the assigned service region (Hamburg, Bremen, Hannover, Frankfurt/Main, or Stuttgart).
