As a Managed Services Specialist at Peter Communication Systems, you will be responsible for the continuous maintenance and optimization of Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) platforms. Your day-to-day activities involve managing IT infrastructure stability through systematic patch management, device monitoring, and the development of automation scripts using tools like PowerShell or Python. You will play a critical role in data visualization, using SQL and Grafana to transform inventoried data into actionable reports for the User Help Desk and project teams. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys bridging the gap between technical system administration and process automation. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., Fachinformatiker) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the IT sector or a completed vocational training in IT
- Extensive experience with RMM systems such as ConnectWise, Kaseya, Datto, or SolarWinds for remote maintenance
- Proven experience in SQL and data visualization using Grafana
- Practical experience in developing automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell or Python)
- Experience in patch management and network device monitoring
