Job Summary
This role involves the professional installation, commissioning, and maintenance of telecommunications systems and applications for a Berlin-based owner-managed company. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for implementing Unified Communications solutions and setting up additional equipment such as door intercoms and conference systems. Your daily tasks will also include configuring internet access routers, VPN solutions, and working on telecommunications line networks. A significant part of the role involves providing customer training and maintaining technical documentation. This position is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract status, 30 days of annual leave, and the provision of a company vehicle for private use. You will work with high-quality systems like UNIFY, MITEL, and Yeastar CloudPBX, serving a diverse client base ranging from startups to international corporations and government agencies.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed vocational training in Telecommunications Technology, Information Technology, Communications Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the installation and commissioning of telecommunications systems
- Experience in implementing Unified Communications and VPN solutions
- Proven track record in troubleshooting and maintenance of technical applications
- Experience in creating and updating technical documentation
- Experience in customer-facing roles and providing system demonstrations
