Job Summary

This role involves serving as the central point of contact for occupational health and safety within a city administration. As a Coordinator, you will act as a vital interface between safety specialists, occupational physicians, supervisory authorities, and various municipal departments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating and maintaining safety documentation, recording workplace accidents, and communicating with insurance providers. You will play a key role in conducting risk assessments, developing operating instructions, and organizing safety committee meetings. Additionally, you will manage budgets and contracts related to workplace safety while ensuring the inspection of electrical equipment and first-aid kits. This position is unique for its focus on sustainable development of safety standards in a public sector environment, offering high levels of autonomy and the chance to directly influence the well-being of municipal employees. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, a technical degree, or a completed vocational training as a Management Assistant in Public Administration/Commercial sector with extensive specialist knowledge. Qualification as an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator is required.
