Job Summary
As a PLC Software Developer at KD Schaltanlagenbau GmbH, you will play a critical role in supporting water and wastewater management systems across Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. Your daily responsibilities will involve the configuration, programming, and optimization of Siemens PLC systems using Step7 Classic and TIA Portal, alongside creating HMI visualizations with WinCC. You will collaborate closely with electrical planning departments and engineering firms to develop functional concepts and conduct on-site commissioning of drive technology. This role is highly interactive, requiring you to provide customer training and technical documentation. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training with further qualification as a Technician specializing in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming specifically with Siemens Step7 Classic, TIA Portal, and WinCC is ideally required.
- Experience in the commissioning of drive technology and associated components.
- Experience in creating technical documentation and training materials.
- Proven experience in independent on-site commissioning and customer-facing communication.
