Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to shape the architecture and requirements of highly complex military land vehicles at a system level. Based in Kiel, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing use cases and deriving system requirements for electrical and electronic assemblies. You will create sub-system specifications and system artifacts following the V-Model, ensuring all solutions are optimized for functionality, integration, and reliability. Day-to-day activities involve close coordination with system project teams and technical departments to ensure specifications meet maturity levels for project milestones. A key part of the role is maintaining structured documentation and ensuring the traceability of requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable technical field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in requirements management and system requirements for mechatronic products
  • Practical experience using DOORS for requirements tracking
  • Experience in use-case analysis using UML or SysML
  • Professional experience in system development according to the V-Model
  • Experience with military or automotive industry standards is preferred
