Job Summary

This role involves managing the critical security infrastructure for Germany's largest pension insurance provider, specifically focusing on server and endpoint protection. Working within the Shared Data Center across Berlin and Würzburg, you will be responsible for the administration of Trellix ePO (Endpoint Protection) systems covering over 20,000 licenses. Day-to-day activities include analyzing and remediating malware on clients and servers, performing forensic investigations using sandbox tools, and evaluating threats reported by the BSI. You will play a key role in the continuous development of security infrastructure, procurement processes, and emergency recovery planning. This position is unique for its high-impact responsibility in a large-scale public sector environment, offering the opportunity to work with complex IT systems that support millions of citizens. The role requires participation in on-call rotations and regular travel between the two main office locations.
