Job Summary

As a Geoinformatics Specialist at Autobahn GmbH, you will play a vital role in managing the digital infrastructure of Germany's extensive highway network. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve establishing and maintaining a quality-assured geodata management system and Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI). You will be responsible for the collection, processing, and visualization of road-related geodata, including the creation of 3D visualizations and thematic maps. A significant portion of the role involves analyzing data using GIS transformation tools and providing essential web services (WMS/WFS) to internal and external stakeholders. This position is particularly attractive as it offers the stability of a federal employer while providing the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact infrastructure projects. You will also serve as a consultant and trainer for specialist departments, ensuring that GIS projects are administered effectively across the organization.
