Job Summary
This role offers a unique opportunity for an IT professional or a photographer with high technical aptitude to bridge the gap between high-end computing and visual arts. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for assembling, configuring, and testing specialized 'PixelStation' workstations, providing technical support to professional photographers and videographers, and advising clients on hardware configurations. You will dive deep into niche technical areas such as color management, monitor calibration, and CPU/GPU benchmarking specifically for image and video processing software. Beyond hardware, you will maintain web content via WordPress and WooCommerce and support the company's internal NAS and commercial software. This position is particularly attractive for those who are passionate about photography or filmmaking, as it provides access to high-end equipment and specialized training in fine art printing and performance optimization within a small, collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss) required; High school diploma (Abitur) and/or a formal vocational qualification in IT (Fachinformatiker) is preferred.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in technical computer support and PC assembly
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products
- Practical experience in photography or filmmaking is highly preferred
- Professional experience in customer consulting and technical troubleshooting

- Willingness to travel to trade fairs in Germany and Austria is required. Position is available as 80% part-time or 100% full-time.
