Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of industrial electrical systems, from initial design and construction to final commissioning. Based in Langenfeld, the successful candidate will spend their days performing EPLAN design, building and wiring control cabinets, and programming PLC systems using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal. Beyond technical execution, you will be responsible for project management tasks such as coordinating with suppliers, planning installation routes, and performing on-site service and repairs for clients. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a PLC or Automation Technician, Master Electrician (Meister Elektrotechnik), Industrial Electrician, Power Plant Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in PLC or automation technology
  • Experience in EPLAN construction and reading electrical circuit diagrams
  • Practical experience in wiring control cabinets and industrial plant cabling
  • Proven experience with Siemens Simatic S7; TIA Portal experience is a significant advantage
  • Experience in the repair, service, and commissioning of technical systems both in-house and at customer sites
  • Experience in planning installation and assembly work
