Job Summary

As a Supplier Quality Manager, you will take full ownership of product quality for assigned purchased parts throughout their entire lifecycle. Your daily responsibilities include ensuring product and process quality, managing timely delivery from suppliers, and utilizing systematic analytical methods to eliminate recurring defects. You will be instrumental in planning and executing initial sample inspections according to EN9102, conducting process audits, and leading supplier development projects. Additionally, you will represent the quality perspective during technical reviews in the product development phase. This role is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys cross-functional collaboration and is comfortable managing international supplier relationships. The position offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to significantly impact quality KPIs within a professional engineering environment. A key highlight of this role is the dynamic nature of the work, involving regular travel and direct involvement in complex system approvals.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field; alternatively, a Master Technician or Certified Technician qualification with relevant experience.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a technical field related to electrical engineering or mechatronics
  • Proven experience in quality management and the application of quality methods
  • Experience in conducting process audits and supplier development projects
  • Professional experience working in cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships
  • Experience in handling initial sampling processes and series production documentation
