Job Summary

This role involves leading critical development projects within Exide Technologies' Motion Division, specifically focusing on the advancement of traction batteries and chargers for electric vehicles. As a Team Lead and Project Manager, you will oversee experienced R&D teams in a European matrix organization, coordinating activities across Germany and Spain. Your day-to-day responsibilities include driving product improvements, researching new technologies, and managing design changes for battery cells and components. You will also benchmark competitor products and support process engineers in standardizing manufacturing operations across European plants. This position is highly cross-functional, requiring you to provide data for sustainability reports and manufacturer certifications while managing R&D budgets.
