Job Summary

As an IT Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and documenting robust security architectures across networks, systems, cloud environments, and applications. Your daily responsibilities involve ensuring that all technical designs align with corporate strategy, IT roadmaps, and international compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS. You will be responsible for defining secure design patterns and reference architectures, effectively embedding 'security by design' principles into various IT projects. This position offers the unique opportunity to manage end-to-end enterprise security implementations for a company dedicated to hearing loss solutions. You will act as a key technical leader, bridging the gap between high-level strategy and practical security engineering while managing diverse stakeholders to maintain a secure digital ecosystem.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher (University, FH) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; Informationstechnikermeister (Master of Information Technology) qualification.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity
  • Professional experience in architecture or engineering roles
  • Experience in managing end-to-end enterprise security implementations
  • Proven experience with security frameworks and infrastructure alignment

Additional

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert are highly desirable. Position involves a 38.5-hour work week with a flexible working time model.
