Job Summary
As a Project Manager for the Munich Digital Rail Node, you will play a pivotal role in the 'Digital Rail Germany' initiative, driving the modernization of rail infrastructure through cutting-edge technology. You will lead an interdisciplinary team to implement advanced control and safety systems, including Digital Interlockings (DSTW) and the European Train Control System (ETCS). Your daily responsibilities involve steering complex infrastructure projects through all phases—from planning to commissioning—while ensuring strict adherence to quality, deadlines, and budget constraints. You will act as a central coordinator between internal departments, external contractors, and project partners. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field of study.
Experience

- Extensive expertise in the construction and commissioning of control and safety systems
- Proven track record in technical leadership and development of interdisciplinary project teams
- Experience in interface management and negotiating with internal and external project partners
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex project situations with high levels of responsibility
