Job Summary

As a Claims Manager for DB Bahnbau Gruppe in Berlin, you will play a pivotal role in the financial and legal success of large-scale railway infrastructure projects. Your daily responsibilities involve identifying, negotiating, and enforcing claims against clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. You will support the creation of supplementary offers, track additional costs, and analyze project schedules to determine the financial impact of disruptions. Beyond pure management, you will act as a strategic advisor to project and site managers, developing alternative courses of action and conducting specialized training on construction contract law (VOB). Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in claims management within the construction or infrastructure sector
  • Proven track record in negotiating and enforcing claims with clients and subcontractors
  • Experience in creating supplementary offers and analyzing construction delays
  • Experience in conducting professional training or workshops on contract regulations
  • Several years of experience in railway infrastructure (required if applying via Master Craftsman qualification)
