Job Summary
As the Commercial Director for the municipal building and property management department of Freiberg, you will lead a team of 13 employees responsible for all commercial aspects of city-owned properties. Your daily responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of annual economic plans and financial statements in accordance with legal regulations, managing cash administration, and conducting financial controlling to identify risks. A unique aspect of this role is the management of sports facility development planning and the coordination of funding for local clubs and associations. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma or Bachelor/Master) in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable qualification in Budgeting, Cash Management, and Accounting.
Experience
- Professional experience in public building management or equivalent commercial functions in private sector companies
- Leadership experience is preferred
- Experience in preparing financial reports and intermediate statements according to legal regulations
- Experience in managing sports facility development or grant administration is beneficial
