Job Summary

As an Embedded Hardware Engineer for a global leader in the energy sector, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and optimization of complex embedded systems. Your daily activities involve designing and dimensioning circuits, creating EMC-compliant schematics, and collaborating closely with layout, construction, and software development teams. You will manage the entire product lifecycle from prototyping and simulation to hardware type testing and production launch. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy technical innovation and high-level responsibility, offering a 35-hour work week and a planned permanent transition to the client company. The position is based in Berlin and provides a unique opportunity to work on market-leading energy technology within a structured product realization process (LEAN/PLM).

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in hardware and electronics development and PCB design
  • Expert knowledge in circuit design using CAD tools such as Mentor DxDesigner and Expedition
  • Extensive experience in EMC-compliant design and industrial measurement techniques
  • Proven experience in project work or sub-project management
  • Experience with hardware-related software and FPGA development
  • Experience in TotalCost and Design-to-Cost projects
