Job Summary
This role involves the technical and organizational leadership of an electrical engineering shift within a high-volume confectionery production facility in Berlin. As the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for personnel planning, overseeing maintenance and repair activities for production machinery and building technology, and managing external service providers. A key aspect of the position is the planning and implementation of automation projects to optimize manufacturing and packaging processes, including process visualization and industrial image processing. You will also manage the electrical network and technical software systems such as WSCAD and PLC controls. This position is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys hands-on technical management in a fast-paced industrial environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or equivalent, with further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical maintenance and industrial automation
- Experience in personnel management and shift coordination
- Practical knowledge of PLC systems (S5, S7, WinCC, LOGO!)
- Experience in creating electrical circuit diagrams using WSCAD
- Experience in managing external suppliers and service providers
- Professional background in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
