This role is situated within the State Office for Environmental and Occupational Safety (LUA) in the Water Management department. As a Chemical or Process Engineer, you will be responsible for enforcing water management laws (WHG and SWG) specifically regarding industrial wastewater disposal for large-scale operations. Your day-to-day tasks include managing water law permits, approving the construction of industrial wastewater treatment plants, and conducting on-site inspections to monitor compliance. You will also provide technical expertise for immission control and urban planning procedures while supporting the Ministry with conceptual tasks. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Experience in environmental administration and knowledge of administrative law is advantageous
  • Proven ability to handle complex technical and conceptual tasks in wastewater management
  • Experience in conducting technical inspections and site visits
