Job Summary

As a Control Systems Development Engineer at FERCHAU, you will play a critical role in the design and implementation of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) systems for guided munitions. Your daily responsibilities will include creating complex simulation models, such as 6DoF simulations, and developing sophisticated algorithms using linear robust control methods and state estimation techniques like Extended Kalman Filters. You will bridge the gap between theoretical design and operational implementation by integrating these algorithms within MATLAB/Simulink environments. Beyond office-based development, you will actively participate in the planning, execution, and evaluation of component tests and firing campaigns both domestically and internationally. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes aerospace technology within a supportive family-owned company that provides long-term stability through permanent contracts, flexible working hours, and comprehensive professional development programs. It is an ideal position for engineers who enjoy seeing their theoretical models transition into real-world hardware performance.
