Job Summary

As an IT Specialist for Mainframe and Batch Scheduling, you will play a critical role in managing high-volume data operations for clients in the Pharma and Life Science sectors. Your daily responsibilities include planning, maintaining, and monitoring batch jobs on IBM z/OS environments using industry-standard scheduling software. You will be responsible for the analysis and optimization of existing batch processes, including error handling, SLA monitoring, and the adjustment of Job Control Language (JCL) and calendar definitions. This role is highly technical, requiring the identification of failure scenarios and the execution of corrective measures to ensure system stability. Beyond technical maintenance, you will ensure compliance with audit and documentation requirements.
