Job Summary
This role involves supporting the 'IT at Schools' department at ITK Rheinland, one of North Rhine-Westphalia's largest municipal IT service providers. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of IT hardware and software, ensuring that local schools are equipped with modern technical infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include preparing procurement contracts, coordinating hardware roll-outs with external service providers, and managing asset documentation. You will act as a key coordinator between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure economic and timely delivery of IT resources. Required Skills
Education
Completed commercial vocational training (Kaufmännische Ausbildung), ideally with a focus on administration or IT, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in commercial administration, ideally within an IT or public administration context
- Experience in managing the hardware lifecycle from procurement to disposal
- Proven experience in coordinating with external service providers and suppliers
- Experience in asset documentation and maintaining hardware databases
- Experience in structured problem-solving and independent task management
