As a Cybersecurity Software Engineer, you will play a dual role as both a technical developer and a security consultant within the software development lifecycle. Your daily responsibilities include the continuous improvement of internal cryptography APIs, managing Secure Token Authentication (STA), and developing automated imaging tools. You will be deeply involved in system hardening through OS updates, STIG security audits, and the configuration of security features like AppLocker, BitLocker, and firewalls. Beyond coding, you will act as a subject matter expert, conducting vulnerability assessments (SAST/DAST), analyzing Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) risks, and providing security training to your colleagues.
