This role involves the development and maintenance of high-level programs for measurement, control, and regulation (MSR) devices on Linux-based target platforms, specifically ARM and STM32 architectures. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for adapting Linux kernels and bootloaders to proprietary hardware, modifying kernel drivers, and implementing modern communication interfaces for Industry 4.0 solutions like MQTT, PROFINET, and OPC UA. The position is ideal for a creative developer who enjoys bridging the gap between hardware and software in the field of industrial measurement technology. Required Skills
Education
Degree in (Technical) Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in embedded programming with C/C++
- Experience in programming interfaces, protocols, and bus systems
- Practical experience in measurement technology or sensor systems is preferred
- Experience with Linux systems and bootloader adaptation
- Proven experience using version control and bug tracking software in a team environment
