This role involves the operational implementation and management of the municipal parent portal 'Waiki' within the school and youth department. As a Project Coordinator, you will serve as a central interface between administrative staff, facility managers, and parents, ensuring a smooth flow of information and standardized procedures. Your daily responsibilities include managing a complex system migration, performing data migration and validation, and configuring new booking modules for childcare services. You will be responsible for ensuring error-free billing and the legal termination of old contracts while transitioning to the new system. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys digital transformation and process optimization within a public service context. The role is offered at a 50% part-time capacity and provides the opportunity to actively shape the future of municipal childcare management starting from the 2026/2027 school year.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in public administration (e.g., Administrative Assistant or Administrator) or a comparable commercial qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration or commercial project coordination
  • Experience in managing data migration and system transitions
  • Experience in administrative software configuration and maintenance
  • Proven track record in structured organizational tasks and process management
  • Experience working within a team-based project environment
