Job Summary
As a Mechanical Development Engineer at EAO Automotive, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between human intuition and machine operation. Operating out of the international development center in Auerbach, you will be responsible for the detailed design of electromechanical control elements, taking them from technical concepts to full series production. Your daily tasks involve designing complex plastic injection-molded parts and stamped-bent metal components using Solid Edge. Beyond design, you will collaborate on product validation planning and contribute to the creation of FMEAs to ensure high-quality standards. Required Skills
Education
University degree in a technical field such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Information Technology.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in mechanical development or engineering
- Extensive experience in the computer-aided design (CAD) of mechanical assemblies
- Proven experience in the design and construction of plastic injection-molded parts
- Professional experience in the development of metallic stamped and bent parts
