Job Summary

As a Software Test Engineer in the defense sector, you will play a pivotal role in the integration and verification of complex systems. Your daily responsibilities include developing integration concepts, defining test environments, and performing software commissioning both in laboratory settings and directly within military vehicles. You will utilize the dSPACE toolchain for test automation and manage requirements using IBM DOORS Classic. A significant part of the role involves coordinating with external subcontractors and internal teams to ensure seamless system performance. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in embedded software integration and verification
  • Proven experience working with communication protocols such as CAN and Ethernet
  • Experience in creating integration and verification concepts at the system and subsystem level
  • Practical experience in software commissioning within laboratory and vehicle environments
  • Experience in steering and coordinating external partners or subcontractors
