Job Summary
As a Maintenance Shift Supervisor at Wilhelm Brandenburg, you will lead a dedicated team of 5-7 employees in a two-shift system (early and late shifts). Your day-to-day responsibilities involve ensuring the reliability of the machinery park through the planning, control, and monitoring of maintenance, inspection, and repair activities. You will be hands-on in analyzing and rectifying technical faults, particularly in electronic, electropneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems. Beyond technical tasks, you will coordinate external service providers, manage spare parts procurement, and drive continuous improvement projects. This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys both technical problem-solving and people development. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification. Ideally supplemented by a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) certification.
Experience
- Professional experience in maintenance of electronic and electropneumatic production equipment
- Leadership experience in a technical environment, specifically managing shift teams
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing PLC-controlled systems
- Experience in coordinating external service providers and managing procurement of technical services
