Job Summary

This role involves working for a global pharmaceutical leader at their significant German site, focusing on the preparation of potency analytics for a Dengue vaccine. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the independent execution of cell culture tasks, including maintenance and seeding into 6-well plates. A critical component of the position is ensuring all work and documentation strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Beyond technical bench work, you will identify deviations and support general laboratory organization, including equipment maintenance and ordering supplies. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a structured, high-stakes environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Technician (Biologielaborant), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Practical experience in working with cell cultures
  • Experience working under strict GMP guidelines and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience in laboratory documentation and evaluation
