Job Summary
As a Project Manager for Renewable Energy Generation at RhönEnergie Erneuerbare GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in driving the energy transition within the East Hesse region. Your daily responsibilities involve overseeing the entire lifecycle of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) projects, from urban land-use planning and project development to construction and final commissioning. You will act as a strategic partner to management, assisting in the acquisition and evaluation of both solar parks and onshore wind projects. The role is highly collaborative, requiring you to coordinate with internal departments and external partners, present projects to municipal committees, and manage regulatory requirements such as EEG tenders. This position is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys a mix of strategic planning, negotiation, and hands-on project execution. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in project management specifically for ground-mounted PV systems or wind turbines
- Experience in project planning, calculation, and evaluation within the renewable energy sector
- Proven track record in managing approval processes and regulatory procedures
- Experience in negotiating with service providers and managing direct marketing contracts
