Job Summary
As an IT Systems Engineer at PLÜMAT, you will play a critical role in managing the technological backbone of an international leader in pharmaceutical machinery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve the administration and optimization of server, storage, and virtualization environments, alongside managing central services like Active Directory and backup systems. You will also oversee network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, Firewalls) and provide 2nd and 3rd-level support for users. A major focus of the role is maintaining high standards of IT security through patch management and robust recovery strategies. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in a technical IT environment is highly desirable
- Experience in planning, installing, and configuring server and storage environments
- Experience in network administration and troubleshooting across multiple sites
- Experience in user and rights management within a corporate infrastructure
