Job Summary

This is a prestigious six-week internship program hosted by Oppenhoff, one of Germany's leading independent law firms. Based in Cologne from August 10 to September 18, 2026, participants will move beyond the lecture hall to experience daily life in a commercial law firm. Interns are assigned to two different practice areas, where they will actively contribute to client mandates rather than just observing. The program is highly structured, offering ten selected students the chance to work closely with mentors, participate in professional workshops, and engage in soft-skill training. Required Skills

Education

Enrolled student in Law (Rechtswissenschaften); minimum of 3 semesters completed with very good academic performance.

Experience

Current enrollment in a Law degree program
Completion of at least 3 semesters of legal studies
Demonstrated interest in economic and commercial contexts
Experience working effectively within a team environment
