Job Summary

In this role, you will work within the Engineering team to continuously improve plant systems, making them more sustainable and efficient. Your daily responsibilities include developing modern control concepts and user interfaces using TIA/WinCC with object-oriented structures, creating technical specifications for control cabinets, and overseeing the commissioning of automation technology at the factory and customer sites worldwide. You will also play a key role in training customer personnel and contributing to R&D projects involving embedded systems and intelligent sensors. This position offers a dynamic international environment with roughly 30% travel. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification; career changers with relevant process control experience are also considered.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the structured analysis and implementation of process control systems
  • Experience in creating and implementing functional specifications for control cabinets and software
  • Practical experience in commissioning automation technology at supplier and customer sites
  • Experience in training technical personnel and using plant simulations
  • Background in electrical or automation engineering
