Job Summary
As an IT Vocational Trainer in Aachen, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of IT professionals. You will lead retraining programs for aspiring Application Developers and System Integration Specialists, serving as the primary liaison for the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). Your daily responsibilities include supervising corporate project work, managing relationships with internship providers, and delivering instructional content in an adult education setting. This position is unique as it combines hands-on teaching with administrative oversight of the vocational training process. You will work within a supportive team at the GFN training center, ensuring students meet all examination requirements and deadlines according to the latest AO 2020 regulations. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science (Application Development or System Integration), an IT-related university degree, or equivalent. Must possess the Instructor Aptitude Certification (AEVO/AdA) or be willing to obtain it.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the IT industry
- Experience in adult education or teaching, ideally within funded educational programs
- Experience with IHK examination processes, including AP1 and AP2 requirements
- Experience supervising corporate project work and managing internship placements

- Must be available to work on-site at the training center in Aachen at least 3 days per week (minimum 51%). Open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
