Job Summary
This role is based at the Technical Tax Office (TFA) in Cottbus, the central IT service provider for the Brandenburg state tax administration. As a key member of the administration department, you will manage day-to-day financial operations including contract database maintenance, invoice processing, and accounts payable/receivable within SAP. A significant portion of the role involves asset accounting, where you will manage master data and perform IT hardware/software inventory tracking for tax offices across the state. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a background in public administration or commercial management. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Public Administration (Middle Service), or completed vocational training as an Office Management Assistant, Tax Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or a comparable commercial qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in commercial accounting or public administration
- Experience in processing invoices and maintaining master data in SAP
- Proven experience handling large data sets and complex functions in Excel
- Experience in asset accounting and inventory control is preferred
- Experience working within the German public sector (TV-L/BbgBesO) framework is advantageous
