Job Summary
As the Technical Operations Manager for Electrical Systems at Voltfang, you will play a pivotal role in securing the energy supply of the future through innovative battery storage solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities include serving as the official concession holder and technical lead for the electrical operations, coordinating installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities. You will lead the field service team both technically and disciplinarily, ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role is unique as it combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership in a mission-driven environment focused on the circular economy and renewable energy. You will conduct training for internal teams and customers while overseeing technical documentation and decision-making in critical situations. Required Skills
Education
Master Electrician (Elektromeister) in Energy and Building Technology or a comparable qualification with a TREI certificate.
Experience
- Several years of practical experience in electrical installations, ideally in existing buildings and field service
- Professional experience in leading and coordinating field service teams
- Industry experience in energy and building technology is preferred
- Proven experience in handling VDE regulations and electrotechnical standards
- Experience in conducting technical training for teams and end-customers
