As a Software-Defined Radio Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, specification, and design of qualification requirements for next-generation military radio equipment. Your daily activities will involve conducting electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and environmental simulation tests to ensure full functionality, alongside designing and commissioning test setups for aviation radio systems. You will play a critical role in quality assurance, ensuring all procedures align with specific aviation standards and customer requirements. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree or advanced technical training (Technician) in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the design and construction of test environments for environmental and EMC product testing
  • Experience in programming, specifically with Python
  • Practical experience with radio technology or transmission methods
  • Experience in creating qualification test procedures and reports for customers
  • Experience working with civil and military avionics standards is preferred
